Fred Marchini
Managing Director
Fred Marchini is a leasing and finance professional with over thirty years experience in all facets of equipment finance. He has an extensive background in originating, structuring and syndicating highly complex financial products for corporations and institutional investors.

Mr. Marchini s experienced in all areas, from middle market to big ticket cross-border transactions for all types of assets. 

Mr. Marchini brings a strong, wide ranging background, including new business development, capital markets, structuring and syndications, underwriting of highly structured, large-ticket, long-term debt. Extensive activity in structuring true leases, synthetic leases and debt for both equipment and real estate. Originated and syndicated debt, leveraged and single investor leases with emphasis on transportation assets.

Robert Mack
Managing Director
Robert Mack has direct senior financial and management experience in commercial equipment marketing, sales, management, planning and lease financing. He has extensive experience in the development of lease financing programs, as well as in the line management of the business and marketingoperations of a Fortune 500 company.
Mr. Mack has structured, priced and negotiated various commercial equipment leases, sold to national lease funding sources. Established a joint venture partnership and coordinated the acquisition, financing maintenance and management of railroad freight cars. Established  a regional railroad freight car leasing company and developed company-wide lease accounting, financial analysis, lease pricing and equipment maintenance procedural and control systems.

James R. Shorter, Jr.
For more than 30 years James R. Shorter, Jr. has concentrated his legal practice on a broad range of international and domestic tax matters, cross-border and domestic facility and equipment leasing/financing transactions, joint ventures and the legal and tax issues facing foreign business entities engaging in commercial transactions and investing in the United States.

Mrs. Shorter holds an
LLM, New York University School of Law, Taxation, a
JD, Harvard Law School and a
BA, Columbia University, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.

He has held positions at Thacher Proffitt & Wood, LLP, New York where he was elected partner in the Tax Practice Group. He is currently Managing Partner at Shorter Law Offices.
